The Libman Company (www.libman.com) is a 4th-generation, family-owned consumer products manufacturer of cleaning tools (brooms, mops, brushes) and other cleaning products (sponges, chemicals etc). The vast majority of our products are manufactured in our state of the art 1.8 million square foot facility located in Arcola, IL. We have a strong brand and distribution nationally in the retail and commercial markets. Libman is a major market leader in the USA and also has an international presence in over 15 other countries. We own a major cleaning tools company in Australia, called Sabco, and in the UK, called Dishmatic. We are actively looking to continue our growth.MONDAY-FRIDAY; LOCATED IN ARCOLA, IL -ONSITE REQUIREDSummary: Oversee the artwork production process, collaborating with design while preparing final print-ready files, ensuring design intent is maintained throughout production while also adhering to printer specifications and brand standards. This role ensures that the artwork is consistently translated onto final packaging, meeting both creative goals and production realities.
Primary Responsibilities
Primary Duties:
Collaborate with outside agency and internal graphic design/production teams to oversee artwork process.
Ensure design intent is maintained throughout production process.
Bridge the gap between creative design and the final printed packaging.
Oversee production-related duties, such as print specifications, material sourcing, and vendor coordination.
Implement and monitor quality control procedures ensuring packaging meets regulatory requirements.
Proofreading copy, and reviewing and approving proofs.
Oversee mockups, prototypes, and final design files to ensure quality and consistency.
Review and approve design concepts, iterations, and final deliverables to ensure they meet production goals.
Secondary Duties:
Serve as the primary point of contact for customer sample requests, coordinating with the Orders and Shipping teams to ensure timely delivery. Collaborate with Operations to fulfill customized sample requests. Develop and execute quarterly retailer mailers (gloves/sponges) for US, bi-annual mailers for Canada and annual Holiday mailer. Develop theme, partner with Graphics on design and coordinate with the Orders and Shipping teams to execute in a timely fashion. Manage the item measurement process. Maintain existing Item Dimension database and update as new products are introduced to market. Communicate to Graphics and other interested parties. Collaborate with Graphics to keep Planogram Room neat and organized, keep product stocked and ensure product packaging is up-to-date.

- Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred (Business major preferred) or 5+ years of related experience.
- Experience in creative production design, with at least 3-5 years in a production leadership role, preferably in packaging design.
- Strong understanding of branding, typography, and color theory as they relate to packaging.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and familiarity with design trends and technologies.
- Experience working with production teams or vendors.
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office suite of products.
- This position will be on-site at our corporate headquarters in Arcola, IL.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to work at a computer for long periods of time. Must be able to lift 15-20 pound occasionally
Working Conditions:
