About the role
About the Role The role is responsible for conducting data collection and analyses to support process improvement programs and projects that reduce cost and complexity across the enterprise. The incumbent leads initiatives of varying complexity and scope within business divisions and cross‑functional enterprise efforts, drafts and reviews project deliverables and analyses (value‑stream mapping, statistical analyses), supervises business process analysts, develops business cases using ROI models, serves as a strategic consultant and business partner to leadership, and improves process performance while enhancing the customer experience. The incumbent also promotes the BPI brand, mentors staff pursuing Green Lean/Green Belt certifications, and participates in BPI organization building activities.
What You’ll Do Lead complex process improvement initiatives impacting multiple functions or businesses with minimal supervision.
Act as a dedicated resource working with division leaders to support process improvement.
Influence senior leaders to make informed decisions.
Lead project teams of peer‑level resources.
Report and communicate results to senior business leaders and division teams without direct authority.
Serve as a change agent/coach to sustain changes.
Build positive relationships and credibility with BPI teams and business partners.
Engage people and develop them through teamwork and high participation.
Assess change readiness and prepare plans to help stakeholders through change.
Utilize process improvement principles and tools to achieve significant improvement results.
Direct the analysis of process improvement analysts.
Drive for high‑quality results.
Apply Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies to align activities with business objectives.
Manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
Identify and manage program risks and issues that impact progress.
Prepare detailed plans to track performance and ensure timely delivery of project deliverables.
Develop practical solutions and methodologies for complex business and enterprise problems.
Coaching, mentoring, and assisting Lean, Green Belt and Black Belt‑level candidates to certification.
Develop internal and external content for leadership presentations.
Ensure deployment of common solutions across divisions and businesses.
Identify and present new project opportunities to leadership.
Share best practices with fellow process improvement coaches and customers.
Partner with Finance and Business to develop and track project metrics.
Develop business cases using ROI models.
Develop control plans and monitor performance and improvement in key metrics.
Deliver significant operational improvement and financial benefits to meet annual targets.

What You Bring – Education & Experience High School Diploma/GED required
Bachelor’s degree preferred or relevant experience in lieu of degree
Minimum 8 years of business process improvement or process redesign experience
Healthcare background highly preferred
Experience in a multi‑divisional corporate environment desired
Licensing, Certifications & Registrations Qualified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification from an industry‑recognized leader (e.g., American Society for Quality)
Master Black Belt preferred
Knowledge Healthcare industry experience preferred
Experience in a multi‑divisional corporate environment
Strong knowledge of change‑management principles and strategies as applied to people and process
Proven project management and process improvement skills, including strong knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
Proficiency with Minitab or other statistical software
Proficient in MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
Skills and Abilities Ability to lead large cross‑divisional teams
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for executive‑level updates
Excellent presentation/facilitation skills
Strong vendor relationships
Ability to gather, synthesize and analyze data and draw logical conclusions
Strong project management experience
Well organized and results‑driven
Travel Occasional travel may be required to alternate Horizon sites.
Compensation & Benefits Salary Range: $109,600 – $149,625 (based on education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity). Horizon also provides a comprehensive compensation and benefits package, which includes:
