About the role

Are you a storyteller? Or, do you yearn to be more comfortable in front of crowds and feel confident in public speaking in order to convey your thoughts and passion? Are you ready to think creatively in unfamiliar situations and gain hands-on experience in working with a diverse group of people? We have partnered with the Southern Hospitality Internship Program to hire Cast Members with a passion for acting to join our team. Picture yourself exploring a world beyond classrooms, an exciting place where you can put what you know to work while discovering untapped talents that you didn’t know you had! Become an ambassador of knowledge as you share stories with our guests and extend our legend. This is a 14-week paid internship that offers reciprocals to local shows/activities, tickets at a reduced rate for family/friends, and gift shop discounts. Can you tap into your critical thinking skills to solve problems? Are you looking for an acting opportunity where you can improve your skills? Would you enjoy being part of our great team?
ABOUT US: Our cast members use their creativity and talent to celebrate our timeless awe-inspiring history and share our stories with others. We know that we would not be able to create a great experience for our guests without our exceptional team. This is why we offer competitive pay and a fun work environment that is unlike any other. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CAST MEMBER As a Cast Member, you are an engaging performer. To create your character, you dress in costume and deliver speeches to guests one-on-one or in large groups as they tour our facility. By gaining accurate knowledge of the artifacts displayed throughout our facility, you bring our story to life. Your expertise also allows you to be able to answer questions and introduce trivia unheard of by the general public. You happily engage with guests and assist in making their experience a memorable one. We also offer live Facebook productions as well as podcasts where you have the opportunity to display your exceptional acting skills. When we hold special events at our facility or other locations, you assist with set up. You enjoy coming to work each day ready to live in the world of the Titanic and share that with those that visit us.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
