About the role
We are seeking an entry-level Robotics Technician to assist with installing, testing, maintaining, and troubleshooting robotic systems and automated equipment. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with technical training and an interest in robotics, electrical systems, and automation.
Responsibilities:
Assist with installing, configuring, and testing robots, conveyors, sensors, and pneumatic components. Perform preventive maintenance and help troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system issues. Support basic PLC troubleshooting and programming under the guidance of experienced team members. Read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical instructions to support equipment testing and repairs. Document service activities, test results, and equipment changes. Work with engineers and service teams to support equipment upgrades, customer needs, and safe operation.
Qualifications:
4 Year Bachelors degree or Associates degree required Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems and familiarity with hand tools and diagnostic equipment. Exposure to Allen-Bradley PLCs or industrial robots is a plus, including classroom or lab experience. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and willingness to learn. Good communication skills and a team-oriented, customer-focused approach. Flexibility to work occasional weekends or on-call hours as needed.
