About the role

Production Associate Our client, a leading meat distribution and food service company, is seeking dependable Production Associates to support daily meat production operations at their Auburndale, FL facility. This is a full-time contract position working in a cold storage/refrigerated environment, responsible for preparing, weighing, packaging, and storing meat products to meet quality and food safety standards.
Location: Auburndale, FL
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 4:00 PM - 11:30 PM
Contract Duration: Approximately 10 weeks (400 total hours)
Travel: None required
Key Responsibilities:
  • Pack, weigh, label, and prepare meat products for customer orders
  • Accurately store and organize products within designated production and storage areas
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the production area
  • Follow all food safety, quality, and workplace safety procedures
  • Work efficiently and safely in a cold storage/refrigerated environment
  • Assist team members with production tasks to help meet daily production goals
Required Qualifications:
  • Ability to work in a cold storage/refrigerated environment for extended periods
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to follow established food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Basic math skills for weighing and measuring product
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in food production, meat processing, or a similar industrial setting
  • Familiarity with packing, weighing, and labeling equipment
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment
