About the role
One of the top boutique private equity firms in Chicago is seeking an Executive Assistant to join their team in a hybrid role. This position offers a salary of $70,000-$80,000 plus bonus and is an excellent opportunity for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who enjoys working with databases, managing information, and supporting senior-level professionals. The Executive Assistant will support three team members while playing an important role in maintaining accurate databases, assisting with investor relations activities, and supporting the team’s day-to-day operations. This position offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, as well as short- and long-term disability insurance. Responsibilities of the Executive Assistant: Maintain and update CRM and database systems, ensuring information is accurate, organized, and up to date. Support investor relations activities by maintaining investor records, tracking communications, and organizing relevant information. Provide administrative and operational support to three team members across a variety of projects and initiatives. Prepare and update reports, spreadsheets, presentations, and other materials using Microsoft Office. Conduct research and data entry to maintain accurate company, investor, and contact information. Coordinate meetings, calls, and other internal and external activities as needed. Organize and maintain confidential company, investor, and business information. Assist with special projects and help improve internal processes, database organization, and workflows. Provide general administrative support to the team as needed. Qualifications of the Executive Assistant:1–3 years of related administrative, operations, database, investor relations, or executive support experience. Strong CRM and database management experience is highly preferred. Previous experience in private equity, investment management, financial services, or investor relations is a plus. Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational and follow-through skills. Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Power Point. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional and personable demeanor. Proactive, resourceful, and able to work independently with minimal direction. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an interest in working with data and systems. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative, and entrepreneurial environment.p-8
