At Steel Encounters, our team is our greatest asset.We are looking for a qualified Receptionist & Construction Administrative Assistant who supports construction leadership & Office Manager by welcoming and orienting those who visit our office or call our main line, monitor and track incoming bid opportunities, track PTO requests for craft workers, update our labor and equipment schedule, and support one-off construction administration projects. Ensure the front office area, front conference room, and lobby are kept clean, organized, and professional looking.Manage outgoing and incoming mail and packagesConstruction Administration SupportTrack and review incoming bid opportunitiesEnsure that our CRM tracking our bids are up to prevent missed bids and ensure accurate metricsSupport the creation of initial project schedulesMaintain the craft worker PTO calendarReconcile the equipment and labor scheduleCollaborate on the creation of unit tracker/construction completion toolsQualifications & CompetenciesHigh School Diploma or equivalent experienceTwo years of office, clerical, or receptionist experienceKnowledgeable with Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Word, and Excel in particularSpanish FluencyAble to learn proprietary softwareThe ability to search for products and services online, place orders, and track packagesStrong written and verbal communication skillsThis listing will remain open through August 28, 2026.
