Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly those on the autism spectrum. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of others through behavioral therapy interventions. Schedule Part-time: 12-15 hours per week Shifts are between 2-7:30pmTypical shift length: 3-4 hours -Afternoon availability is required
Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Collect and record data on observable client behavior
- Assist in conducting patient assessments and developing treatment goals
- Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities
- Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure consistency in implementing behavioral strategies
- Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
Requirements:
Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorders is preferred Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with clients, families, and colleagues-Driving is an essential part of this job, Driver License is required
