About the role

We are partnering with a well-established and growing organization seeking a Senior Tax Associate to join its tax team. This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional looking to take the next step in their career while gaining broad exposure and working closely with experienced leadership.
Responsibilities: Prepare and review federal, state, and local income tax returns Assist with corporate, partnership, and/or individual tax compliance Prepare quarterly and annual tax provisions and related workpapers Perform tax research and analyze technical tax issues Prepare and review multistate income and franchise tax returns Collaborate with accounting and finance teams on tax-related matters Assist with special projects and process improvement initiatives Maintain up-to-date knowledge of diverse US federal and state & local tax legislation and US GAAP financial statement reporting requirements for taxes (ASC 740)
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 2–4+ years of relevant tax experience Public accounting experience preferred Strong knowledge of federal and state income taxation Experience preparing and/or reviewing tax returns and supporting workpapersCPA or CPA candidate preferred Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines Strong written and verbal communication skills
