About the role
As a Member of the Board of Advisors - Provider Relations, this part-time remote role will provide strategic guidance on growth, market opportunities, and partnerships while advising on healthcare trends and supporting mission-driven startups in the healthcare ecosystem.
Key responsibilities
Provide strategic guidance on Healthcare Shares' growth, positioning, partnerships, investment focus, and long-term vision
Advise on healthcare market trends, emerging opportunities, startup evaluation, and social impact strategy
Contribute leadership insight across various healthcare sectors, supporting ecosystem and portfolio development
Required qualifications
Significant experience in healthcare, medicine, life sciences, venture capital, or related fields
Preferred senior leadership, board, advisory, or entrepreneurial experience
Strong professional network within healthcare and investment ecosystems
Ability to provide strategic and mission-aligned guidance to support healthcare startups
Commitment of approximately 2-4 hours per month for board participation and advisory activities
