About Covenant Care Practices Since 2001, Covenant Care Practices has served Middle Tennessee with independent, community-rooted family medicine. Across our three clinics in Clarksville (Sango and Hilldale) and Dover, our team provides continuity-driven care for patients of all ages—from newborns to seniors. As one of our long-standing physicians prepares for retirement, we are seeking a dedicated, patient-centered Family Medicine Physician (MD or DO) to join our physician-led clinical team.
Position Overview:
In this role, you will provide comprehensive primary care while serving as a Collaborating / Supervising Physician for our team of Nurse Practitioners (FNPs) and Physician Assistants (PAs). You will play a central role in delivering high-quality, outpatient medicine in a supportive environment backed by a seasoned clinical and administrative staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide broad-spectrum outpatient family medicine care, including preventive care, adult medicine, pediatric wellness, chronic disease management, and minor in-office procedures. Serve as the collaborating/supervising physician for mid-level clinicians (Advanced Practice Providers), offering chart reviews, clinical consultation, and mentorship. Maintain patient continuity within a "one practice, one chart" framework across our Middle Tennessee clinic network. Collaborate with local specialist networks and hospitals for seamless patient referrals when necessary. Participate in practice quality improvement and clinical workflow optimization.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited program. Licensure: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine (ABFM or ABOFP).Active (or eligible for) unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of Tennessee. Active DEA registration.
Experience:
2+ years of outpatient primary care experience preferred; experience supervising/collaborating with APPs is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills, clinical leadership, and a commitment to independent, community-focused patient care.
