Mailroom Processor Job Description Required Education: Verifiable High School Diploma or Equivalent Required Qualifications/Skills/Experience: Experience in a print or mailroom setting Proficiency with Microsoft business software, including Excel, PDF, and Outlook Experience with digital printing and production-class printers Ability to perform folding and inserting into various envelopes using large-class inserter machines Ability to verify print jobs against received documentation Ability to perform printing, inserting, and postage functions within defined timeframes Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to stand for long periods and remain on their feet for most of the shift Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Ability to work efficiently with Microsoft Office applications Ability to pass a background check and drug test Ability to work with sensitive healthcare information Ability to balance compassion and kindness with professionalism and customer service Mailroom Processor Overview: The Mail Processor will support corporate mailroom operations in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment The role is responsible for digital printing on large production-class printers, folding and inserting materials into various envelopes using large-class inserter machines, and performing other mailroom functions throughout the day The individual will verify print jobs against the documentation received and ensure printing, inserting, postage, and completion communications are performed accurately within defined timeframes This operation runs 24/7, 365 days a year and handles sensitive healthcare information, requiring a strong commitment to accuracy, professionalism, confidentiality, and timely completion of work The position requires individuals who are comfortable being on their feet and moving throughout most of the shift, including lifting boxes of envelopes and paper weighing up to 50 pounds The successful candidate will be able to multitask, work efficiently with Microsoft business software, and maintain a high level of customer service in a demanding environment Candidates who can balance compassion and kindness with professionalism and customer service will thrive in this position and have opportunities for growth and advancement within the healthcare industry Job Duties: Perform digital printing on large production-class printers Fold and insert printed materials into various envelopes using large-class inserter machines Perform other mailroom functions throughout the day Verify print jobs against received documentation Print and process materials within defined timeframes Insert materials into envelopes Apply postage Communicate completion of print and mail jobs within established timeframes Ensure accurate and timely processing in a fast-paced environment Multitask while maintaining productivity and accuracy Handle sensitive healthcare information appropriately Use Microsoft business software, including Excel, PDF, and Outlook Lift boxes of envelopes and paper weighing up to 50 pounds Remain on their feet and active for extended periods throughout the shift Provide professional and customer-focused service
