Project Description: We are seeking an experienced Senior Data & Cloud Architect to lead the design and modernization of data and cloud platforms for a healthcare organization. The ideal candidate will build scalable, secure, and compliant data architectures, guide cloud adoption across hybrid environments, and partner with engineering and business teams to deliver modern, data-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities: Design and implement scalable data architectures and cloud-based solutions using Snowflake, AWS, and DynamoDB. Lead application modernization initiatives, defining architecture patterns, integration frameworks, and migration strategies. Architect and optimize Big Data ecosystems to support large-scale data processing and analytics. Establish Dev Ops best practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automation, and infrastructure as code. Define and enforce cloud governance standards across hybrid cloud environments, ensuring security, compliance, and cost efficiency. Collaborate with stakeholders, data engineers, and development teams to translate business needs into technical solutions. Ensure solutions meet healthcare data security and compliance requirements, such as HIPAA.
Required Skills: 10+ years of IT experience, with significant experience in the healthcare domain. Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake, AWS, DynamoDB, and Big Data ecosystems. Proven expertise in designing and implementing scalable data architectures and cloud solutions. Solid understanding of application architecture patterns, integration frameworks, and modernization strategies. Experience with Dev Ops practices, CI/CD pipelines, automation, and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Cloud Formation). Strong knowledge of hybrid cloud environments and cloud governance.
Nice to Have: Deep healthcare domain knowledge, including familiarity with HIPAA, HL7/FHIR, claims, or EHR data. AWS or Snowflake certifications.
