Learn more about the career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com.In this role, you will:Manage inbound and outbound calls, with follow-up to existing and potential customers offering Wells Fargo mortgage products and servicesInteract with customers to understand their needs and provide them with high quality customer service; inform prospective and existing customers of Wells Fargo Home Mortgage programs; analyze and offer mortgage loan products based on the client's needsPresent recommendations for resolving more complex situations, and exercise some independent judgment while developing understanding of loan applications, pricing loans, or locking loan ratesCollaborate with fulfillment partners to meet the needs of our clients throughout the origination processMaintain high standard of client satisfaction by ensuring timely and proactive customer communicationNavigate between multiple screens, databases and applications to accurately capture information needed from the customer, while holding a conversationThis SAFE position has customer contact and job duties which may include the offering/negotiating of terms and/or taking an application for a dwelling secured transaction. As such, this position requires compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and all related regulations. Ongoing employment is contingent upon meeting all such requirements, including acceptable background investigation results. Individuals in a SAFE position also must meet the Loan Originator requirements under Regulation Z (LO) outlined in the job expectations belowRequired Qualifications:2+ years of Mortgage Consumer Direct Sales experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educationBilingual speaking and listening proficiency in Spanish/EnglishDesired Qualifications:Experience in loan originationStrong understanding of mortgage sales, origination processes and industry regulationsExperience working in goal-driven environmentsExperience in salesExperience communicating financial concepts to customersStrong communication skills both interpersonal and written and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Detail-oriented with strong organization and time management skillsJob Expectations:This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorshipThis position offers a hybrid work schedule; one week in office and one week remoteWillingness to work on-site at the location(s) listed on the job openingAbility to work weekdays, weekends and holidays as needed or scheduledSite hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9:00 am - 7:00 pm; Saturday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm. Candidate will work alternating two-week schedule 9:00 am - 5:30 pm and 10:30 am - 7:00 pm and one rotating Saturday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm approximately once every four weeks. Hours adjust in March for the time changeThis position requires SAFE registration at the time of employment. Wells Fargo will initiate the SAFE registration process immediately after your employment start date. The Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) web site provides the MU4R questions and registration required for employment in this position. Individuals in Loan Originator (LO) positions must meet the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau qualification requirements and comply with related Wells Fargo policies. The LO qualification requirements include meeting applicable financial responsibility, character, general financial fitness, and criminal background standards. A current credit report will be used to assess your financial responsibility and credit fitness, however, a credit score is not included as part of the evaluation. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening, if necessary
