About the role

The Network Engineer designs, implements, maintains, and supports scalable, secure, and highly available network infrastructure. As part of the network team, this role helps ensure reliable connectivity and performance while delivering network architectures and services that meet business objectives and service-level agreements (SLAs).
Key Responsibilities: · Configure, install, and support network devices and services, including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, virtual private networks (VPNs), and quality of service (QoS).· Perform network maintenance and system upgrades, including service packs, patches, hotfixes, and security configuration updates.· Monitor network performance, availability, and reliability; identify emerging issues and implement appropriate corrective actions.· Analyze resource utilization and performance trends to support capacity planning and infrastructure growth.· Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support, troubleshoot complex network issues, and drive incidents through resolution.· Plan, document, test, and implement network changes in accordance with established configuration and change-management policies.· Partner with the security team to evaluate and implement network security tools, policies, procedures, and controls.
Required Qualifications: · Demonstrated hands-on experience configuring, troubleshooting, and supporting enterprise network infrastructure.· Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies, including IPsec, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, IEEE 802.11 wireless networking, and QoS.· Strong understanding of the OSI and TCP/IP models.· Hands-on experience with network monitoring, diagnostic, and analytics tools.· University degree in computer science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications: · Cisco certification such as CCNA or CCNP, or equivalent demonstrated expertise.· Experience with mobile device management (MDM) solutions, such as Mobile Iron, for corporate-owned and bring-your-own-device (BYOD) environments.· Experience with audiovisual equipment and standards.
