About the role
One of our clients, is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse.
Position Type: Contract-to-Hire
Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Supervise and support Medication Technicians
- Complete clinical documentation and incident reports
- Coordinate care with the on-site Nurse Practitioner (weekly visits)
- Use PointClickCare EMR (training provided)
- Act as the primary nurse on shift with leadership support available
- Ensure compliance with NYS regulations and facility policies
- Provide resident-centered nursing care
Requirements:
- Active New York State LPN license
- BLS certification
- Experience in assisted living, long-term care, or similar setting preferred
- Comfortable working independently
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Willing to work at least one weekend day per week
- EMR experience a plus (PointClickCare preferred)
