About the role
Managing the end-to-end risk processes during the commercial phase, the full-time Senior Risk Mitigation Manager will serve as a subject matter expert in contract negotiations and compliance, focusing on U.S. Government contracting while working remotely.
Key responsibilitiesLead the review, negotiation, and compliance of U.S. Government contracts, ensuring adherence to FAR/DFARS and other regulatory requirements
Negotiate and redline complex commercial agreements, analyzing and mitigating associated risks to align with business objectives
Partner with cross-functional teams to provide strategic commercial support and ensure seamless contract handover to execution teamsRequired qualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Legal, Engineering, or a related field
10-15+ years of experience in government contracts, contract management, and commercial risk mitigation
Demonstrated expertise in U.S. Government contracting, including knowledge of FAR/DFARS and compliance standards
Deep understanding of various contract types, including Firm Fixed Price and Cost Reimbursement
Experience with CRM systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
