Salary: $150K - $175KHybrid Schedule: 2 remote days per week
Job Summary: Join a growing immigration practice and help corporate clients navigate complex U.S. immigration matters. National Law Firm is seeking an Immigration Associate with 2-3 years of business immigration experience to join a dynamic legal team. Working closely with the Immigration Partner, you will support a diverse range of employment-based immigration matters while providing exceptional client service to corporate clients.
What You'll Do: Prepare and file a wide range of employment-based nonimmigrant and immigrant visa petitions, including H-1B, L-1, O-1, TN, E-1/E-2, PERM, NIW, and EB-1 petitions. Draft responses to Requests for Evidence (RFEs), motions, and supporting documentation. Assist with PERM labor certification cases and employment-based green card processes. Support family-based immigration matters, including marriage-based applications and naturalization filings. Advise clients on I-9 compliance and employment eligibility verification requirements. Draft client communications and provide day-to-day immigration counseling. Track case progress, manage deadlines, and maintain case files. Stay current on immigration law developments and policy changes affecting employers and foreign national employees.
What You'll Bring: J.D. from an accredited law school. Admission to practice in New York.2-3 years of business immigration experience. Experience with both nonimmigrant and immigrant visa matters. Exposure to family-based immigration and naturalization applications. Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Excellent communication and client-service abilities.
