We're seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join our Finance team. In this role, you will partner with internal teams and external tax advisors to support federal and state tax compliance, review tax filings, analyze tax positions, and assist with quarterly and annual tax reporting. This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional who enjoys solving complex problems, navigating changing regulations, and making a meaningful impact on the business. What you will be doing: Prepare and compile information necessary for federal and state income tax filings. Review tax returns prepared by external tax service providers for accuracy and completeness. Research tax laws, regulations, and rulings to support compliance and identify potential tax impacts. Analyze tax accounts, transactions, and records to ensure accurate tax reporting. Assist with quarterly and annual tax provision calculations and related reporting. Support tax audits and respond to information requests from taxing authorities. Partner with accounting and finance teams to maintain accurate tax-related records and documentation. Recommend process improvements that enhance efficiency and compliance. Other duties as assigned.
What we’re looking for: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.3+ years of tax experience in public accounting, corporate tax, or a combination of both. Understanding of federal and state income tax concepts and compliance requirements. Ability to research and interpret tax laws, regulations, and accounting guidance. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to initiate and drive value-added projects to successful completion.
