About the role
Collaborating with PhD economists, the full-time Payments Research Associate will conduct innovative research and analysis on economic topics, focusing on data analysis and communication while working onsite in Kansas City with some remote flexibility.
Key responsibilities
Working with PhD economists on policy briefings and academic research projects
Analyzing data and creating visual representations from large datasets and national surveys
Participating in econometric research, writing for publications, and delivering presentations
Required qualifications
Bachelor's or master's degree in economics or a closely related field
Coursework or experience in economics; econometrics, mathematics, statistics, and computer science highly desirable
Proficiency in programming languages and statistical software such as Stata, R, Python, or Matlab
Strong academic record with experience in empirical research and data analysis
