About the role
- Place and manage IT hardware orders for AMEROwn the end-to-end hardware asset lifecycle, including provisioning, deployment, refreshment and secure decommissioning
- Ensure accurate asset tagging, tracking and chain-of-custody throughout the lifecycle
- Support and escalate ServiceNow asset-related tasks for regional and onsite coordinators
- Maintain accurate and compliant asset and CI records within the ServiceNow CMDBPerform data validation, reconciliation and remediation to ensure database accuracy
- Conduct onsite and regional stockroom audits across AMERInvestigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and variances, ensuring that stockroom processes align with audit, security and compliance requirements
- Maintain documentation to support audit readiness and operational consistency
- Assist with asset-related incidents and issue investigations by gathering, validating and documenting required information
- Apply technical and operational expertise to resolve service disruptions in coordination with IT operations, workplace and security teams
- Identify opportunities for improving asset lifecycle, inventory and CMDB processes
- Create clear, concise and well-organized communication materials (procedures, guidelines, audit findings, status updates)
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability when adopting new tools, processes or regional requirements
- 5+ years of experience in IT hardware asset management, end-user computing or IT operations
- Bachelor's degree, technical qualification, or equivalent practical experience preferred
- Proven experience managing the full hardware asset lifecycle (procurement through decommissioning)
- Experience supporting global or multi-region environments
- Hands-on experience using ServiceNow Asset Management and CMDBExperience supporting or acting as an escalation point for junior coordinators or support teamsIT Asset Management (ITAM), ServiceNow or supply-chain related certifications are a plus
- Experience working with vendors, logistics partners and internal procurement teams
