About the role
- Own the content strategy and calendar for Iris brand channels, and support the content that runs through Drew and other team members.· Run Iris Media Network: plan and produce the shows, keep the news wire moving, and run the clip workflow that turns every recording into short-form posts for each channel.· Make content in every format: short-form video and clips, long-form posts, carousels, static graphics, newsletters, podcast episodes and live or recorded shows.· Turn one piece of source material (an episode, a customer story, a data drop, a news story) into many posts sized for each channel.· Run production end to end: briefs, scripts, recording, editing, approvals and publishing.· Build your own audience as an on-air and on-feed voice for Iris and IMN, alongside Drew and the team.· Work with Drew and our in-house experts to turn their knowledge of consumer brand finance, M&A and operations into content people want to share.· Build a steady flow of customer stories, case studies and proof points with our sales and account management teams.· Manage freelancers, editors and outside production partners, and keep work on brand and on schedule.· Track what is working by channel and format, report on it, and change the plan based on the numbers.· Work with the rest of Demand Gen so content lines up with campaigns, events, launches and paid programs. How we will measure success· Audience growth and engagement across Iris and IMN channels, and on your own.· Inbound demos and pipeline that trace back to content.· Publishing consistency: a calendar that ships on time, every week.· Content the sales team actually uses in deals. What you bring· 0-1+ years making and running content for a brand, media company or creator, with at least some of that time owning a channel or program yourself.· A personal audience you built yourself on at least one platform, and a clear account of how you grew it. You will build your own following here too, as one of the voices of Iris and IMN.· A portfolio of work across formats, including short-form video, that grew a brand audience you can point to.· Strong writing and editing. You can take a rough idea or a long conversation and make it sharp.· Hands-on skill with video editing and design tools (Premiere, CapCut, Descript, Riverside, Canva, Figma or similar).· A working knowledge of how each platform rewards content, and the habit of checking the data.· Comfort running many projects at once at startup speed, with little process to start from.· Comfort on camera and in front of an audience.· Good taste and good judgment about what fits the brand.
- Experience in B2B SaaS, fintech, or content for finance or operations audiences.· Familiarity with the CPG, ecommerce or DTC world.· Experience producing a podcast, news product or video series.· Experience managing freelancers or a small team. Please send your resume to
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
