About the role

Assembler The Assembler will be performing light assembly work with plastic and sheet metal parts. Primary functions include: Assemble items as instructed by supervisor/manager. Follow all safety rules and quality standards including all company policies and procedures. Perform job assignments in a safe and productive manner while maintaining high quality levels. Adhere to standardized work practices in a continuous improvement environment. Keep work areas clean and organized while taking care of all equipment and facilities. Other duties as assigned.
Skills and qualifications include: Rudimentary mechanical ability and understanding. Experience with using small hand tools. Ability to use screw guns, air tools, pop-riveter, belt sanders, a plus. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings. Must be able to work in a fast-paced high volume production environment under tight time constraints. Must possess an understanding of production procedures. High level of attention to detail. Must have excellent time management skills and work ethic. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including verbal and written. Ability to work independently and as a team member. Essential functions/physical requirements include: Must be able to stand continuously for long periods of time. Prolonged periods of pushing, pulling, lifting and carrying /AA/M/F/Veteran/Disability
