Role Description: The Zone Manager – Northern Connecticut is a full-time, on-site role based in North Haven, CT, responsible for overseeing sales activities and execution in the assigned territory. This position manages relationships with key retail and on-premise accounts, ensuring product distribution, merchandising standards, and brand visibility align with company objectives. The Zone Manager monitors sales performance, analyzes market trends, and implements targeted strategies to achieve revenue and volume goals. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with sales representatives, collaborating with suppliers and internal teams, and resolving customer issues promptly and professionally. The role also requires regular territory visits, adherence to company policies and regulatory guidelines, and accurate reporting of sales activities and forecasts.
Qualifications: Demonstrated experience in territory or zone management, preferably within beverage, consumer packaged goods, or related wholesale distribution. Strong sales, account management, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to drive growth in a defined geographic area. Solid analytical and organizational abilities, including proficiency in using sales reports, market data, and basic office software (e.g., Excel, Sales Force).Effective communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the capacity to collaborate across internal teams and external partners. Proven ability to work independently in the field, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously. Familiarity with the adult beverage industry, product categories, and regulatory environment is strongly preferred. Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel frequently within Northern Connecticut. Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus. Capability to meet physical demands of the role, including regular lifting of product cases and standing or walking during account visits.
