Olsen & Webster CPAs has served Meridian's small business community since 1981. Our team of 9 provides bookkeeping, tax preparation and planning, and business advisory services to clients ranging from home-based startups to companies nearing $25M in sales. We're the accounting and financial partner our clients rely on — and we're looking for a friendly, organized professional to be the first face and voice of our firm. Schedule & Pay Part-time, [20-25 hours/week] — [Mon–Thursday, 12:00PM-5:00PM]$20 – $22 per hour, depending on experience
What You'll Do: Greet clients and visitors, determine the purpose of their visit, and direct them appropriately Answer, screen, and route incoming calls; take messages and schedule appointments Keep the reception and waiting area organized, stocked, and presentable Process incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and courier deliveries Provide general information about our services and follow up on minor client questions Support accounting staff with clerical tasks: filing, data entry, and recordkeeping Help maintain a professional, welcoming environment for every client interaction
What You Need: High school diploma or equivalent 1+ year of professional office experience Strong verbal and written communication skills Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)Professional, calm demeanor — even when juggling multiple things at once
Nice to Have: Experience with multi-line phone systems Prior experience at a CPA firm, tax office, or professional services business
