About the role
Job DescriptionWe're seeking a Construction Superintendent to lead field execution on complex data center construction projects where precision, coordination, and reliability are critical. This role plays a key part in delivering mission-critical facilities by driving daily site operations and ensuring installations meet demanding performance standards. You'll work alongside an experienced project team focused on quality execution, safety, and successful project delivery from ground-up construction through turnover.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise daily field activities and coordinate trade partners throughout all phases of constructionManage installation sequencing for mechanical and electrical equipment within mission-critical environmentsMaintain project schedules and track field progress to support milestone completionSupport commissioning activities and ensure systems are prepared for functional testing and startupUtilize project management platforms to document progress, issues, and field coordination effortsQualificationsProven experience supporting data center construction projectsStrong understanding of MEP systems and equipment installationsBackground in new construction environments with complex coordination requirementsExperience using Procore for field documentation and project trackingCommissioning experience with platforms such as CXAlloy preferredDemonstrated supervision and field leadership experienceStrong scheduling awareness and ability to coordinate multiple subcontractorsExcellent communication and problem-solving skills in fast-paced field settingsDesign Hire is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer.
