Job Overview: A law firm seeks a highly qualified Financial Markets and Regulatory Associate to join its dynamic practice group in Washington, D.C. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in financial services, including securities and derivatives, and expertise in negotiating trading agreements. Experience with digital assets and blockchain technology is preferred.
Duties: Provide legal advice on financial services, securities, and derivatives. Negotiate and draft trading agreements. Advise on matters involving digital assets and blockchain technology. Conduct legal research and analysis.
Requirements: 3-5 years of relevant experience in financial services. Strong writing and analytical skills. Admitted to the bar in Illinois, New York, or Washington, D.C., or eligible to waive in. Education Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Certifications: Bar admission in Illinois, New York, or Washington, D.C.Skills Excellent academic credentials. Strong negotiation skills. Proficiency in legal research and analysis.
