About the role
- Manage the President and CEO's calendar, appointments, and meeting schedule
- Coordinate meetings and ensure the executive is prepared with relevant information and materials
- Manage phone and email correspondence, prioritizing and responding as appropriate
- Serve as a key liaison between the President and CEO and the Board of Trustees
- Coordinate board-related meetings, communications, and materials
- Liaise professionally with internal teams, donors, community leaders, and other external stakeholders
- Track priorities, follow-ups, and deadlines on behalf of the executive
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion
- Provide additional administrative and project support as needed
- Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
- Approximately 10+ years of senior-level executive support experience
- Prior experience supporting a President, CEO, or other senior executive
- Nonprofit, arts, culture, media, or similarly mission-driven experience is highly preferred
- Strong calendar management, organizational, and prioritization skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Polished and professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently, anticipate needs, and manage multiple priorities
- Sound judgment, discretion, and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
