About the role
Light & Dwell is seeking a talented and highly organized Design Associate to support our Designers across residential projects. This is a remote position supporting projects from coast to coast and combines creative design support, technical documentation, sourcing, and project organization.
Responsibilities:
Create and update drawings under the Designer’s direction Source furnishings, fixtures, materials, and custom pieces Build presentations, mood boards, product pages, and material palettes Create and maintain specification books and build-team documentation Research product details, pricing, dimensions, and lead times Order, track, label, organize, and return samples Maintain organized project files, drawings, and presentations Support procurement handoff and travel to job sites as needed
Qualifications:
Interior design education or relevant professional experience Advanced proficiency in drawing and presentation software AutoCAD and/or Revit with a strong ability to produce detailed build documentation Strong visual eye and alignment with the Light & Dwell aesthetic Exceptionally organized, accurate, and detail-oriented Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment Strong follow-through and commitment to completing tasks thoroughly and on timeA warm, personable team member who communicates well and enjoys working with others Resourceful, collaborative, and eager to grow Able to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities
