Job Description
Essential Functions:
Provides support to operators through efficient, on-time delivery of WIP, containers, and other materials to the work cells Monitor scrap dumpsters and dump scrap in designated hoppers Remove finished goods containers and transport to correct storage area, and scan accordingly Perform maintenance and safety checks on forklifts and other material handling equipment for which the associate is responsible Remove WIP containers and move to correct designated location and scan accordingly Follow all plant requirements for transport and stacking of containers Monitor condition of containers and move damaged containers to container repair area Maintain storage container organization in accordance with the plant layout Any other duties or responsibilities assigned by the Weld Assembly Supervisor Abide by all Company polices including, but not limited to the following: Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental Systems, Human Resources policies, and the Martinrea Employee Handbook
Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before customers or employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
