About the role
We are working with a global financial services firm to hire a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager for its advisory finance team. This is a highly visible role. You'll work directly with the senior leader who runs the business, and your analysis will shape strategy, resource allocation, and executive decisions worldwide.
What you'll do:
Drive the global planning cycle, including the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and weekly revenue outlooks, in partnership with regional finance teams and business leaders.
Build financial models and KPI reporting that turn results into actionable insight.
Lead preparation of quarterly Board materials and support earnings-related analyses and Q&A.Run monthly expense analysis to identify cost drivers and recommend savings.
Support and validate global cash forecasting.
Deliver monthly regional presentations to senior management.
Lead finance transformation work to improve reporting, forecast accuracy, data quality, and efficiency, in partnership with technology teams.
Act as finance partner to the middle office and other corporate functions.
Manage and mentor one finance professional.
What you'll bring 10+ years in FP&A, corporate finance, or management reporting, ideally at an investment bank, financial institution, or professional services firm.
A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Working knowledge of accounting principles. Month-end close or controllership experience is a plus.
Experience leading or significantly contributing to finance system implementations or reporting automation.
Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills, and executive-level PowerPoint skills.
Familiarity with SAP, Analysis for Office, Power Query, Alteryx, Power BI or Tableau, or AI tools is a plus.
Polished communication skills and comfort working with senior leaders across regions.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
