The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to the development, enhancement, and maintenance of a transaction management platform, leading a global distributed team. This role offers the opportunity to work on challenging new products in the financial space, utilizing cutting-edge technology. Key responsibilities include working independently to develop, test, and debug software solutions, handling projects and initiatives autonomously, and leading and mentoring teams across different geographical locations. The ideal candidate will have excellent Java n-tier application experience, programming skills in JVM languages, and a strong background in cloud computing, particularly with Kubernetes, Kafka, and Azure/AWS. Experience in microservices architecture and a deep understanding of cloud computing are highly desirable. The role requires a candidate with a BS/MS in computer science or a related field, at least 13 years of commercial software development experience, and a proven track record in leading mid to large-scale development teams. Proficiency in Java, multithreading, and commercial software development is essential, as is experience with agile development methodologies. The candidate should be adept at writing unit and automation tests, participating in code reviews, and actively engaging in the agile software development process. Strong communication skills, the ability to work well in a collaborative team environment, and a strong desire to learn and adapt are also key attributes. The position demands a professional with excellent leadership qualities, the ability to understand business requirements, and a strong focus on delivering high-quality, business-driven solutions.
