Hospice Sales Manager Greater Chicago Area | Field-Based / HybridThe Opportunity Crystal Hospice is growing its presence across the Chicagoland area and is looking for an experienced hospice sales professional to help lead that expansion. This is a hands-on, individual-contributor sales role for someone who knows the local healthcare market, understands how hospice referrals are developed, and enjoys building relationships from the ground up. You’ll have the opportunity to grow an emerging service line while working alongside an established organization that also provides home health and home care services.
What You’ll Do: Build and grow referral relationships throughout the Chicagoland healthcare community. Develop partnerships with hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted and independent living communities, rehabilitation facilities, care managers, physicians, and other professional referral sources. Generate new hospice referrals through proactive outreach, relationship development, education, and community engagement. Own the sales process from initial prospecting and outreach through development of ongoing referral relationships. Educate healthcare professionals, patients, and families on Crystal Hospice services and appropriate hospice care. Coordinate closely with clinical and operational teams to help ensure smooth patient referrals and transitions of care. Maintain and expand relationships after the initial referral to create sustainable referral partnerships. Identify new market opportunities and community partnerships throughout Chicagoland. Partner with the Hospice Director and internal leadership team to support continued program growth. What We're Looking For2–5+ years of relevant Hospice or Home Health sales experience, with current industry experience and established referral relationships strongly preferred. Demonstrated history of generating positive sales results through strong customer and referral relationships. Experience developing relationships with healthcare providers and professional referral sources. Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. Ability to develop new business while strengthening existing referral relationships. Knowledge of applicable federal and state healthcare practices and standards. Ability to travel locally throughout the Chicagoland area. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and customer relationship management tools. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, or comparable relevant professional experience. Compensation
Base salary: ~$80,000 | Target OTE: $150,000 based on performance
