About the role
NJDHS-DMAHS Business Systems Consultant 3 (Cert Analyst)Full-time professional Information Technology Project Development work experience and/or Function/Business Process Analysis work experience with CMS Certification and MITA focus.Key ResponsibilitiesThere are multiple openings for this position and it is anticipated to run over 2 years in duration. Please do not submit candidates that were rejected/submitted to req ID: 577875 Please note that this is a position for a certified analyst: CMS Certification is the detailed review process used by The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to ensure the state Medicaid information systems meet complex federal requirements for enhanced funding.Provide CMS certification subject matter expertise to support certification of the New Jersey Replacement Medicaid Management Information System (R-MMIS).Support the planning and identification of certification tasks and activities.Conduct detailed reviews and provide actionable feedback on vendor and state owned evidence packets and checklists.Assist with the development of state-owned evidence packets.Provide input for the development of the certification status report.Conduct research as directed to support certification and/or other project needs.Assist with deliverable review as needed.Provide input and assist with the resolution of issues/conflicts impacting certification and/or the overall project.Provide input into and participate in standing weekly certification planning, as well as related ad hoc meetings.Key RequirementsRequisite Qualifications/Experience:Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS).Minimum of two years' experience with State Medicaid programs.Demonstrated experience with requirements definition and management, testing, and implementation.Strong written and verbal communication skills to work successfully with internal and external stakeholders.Preferred Qualifications/Experience (in addition to the above):Demonstrated experience working with the CMS Medicaid Enterprise Certification Life Cycle process.Demonstrated expertise in Medicaid Information Architecture (MITA) 3.0 framework.Experience using ALM tool.
