Deputy Sheriff Neosho County has an immediate opening for a Deputy Sheriff. The starting wage is $21.21 - $25.27 per hour, and is qualification dependent. Hours from 1800-0600 are an additional $1.00 per hour. County benefits include health insurance, paid leaves, KP&F retirement, uniforms, duty gear, and paid training. Applicants must be at least 21, possess a valid driver's license, and have a H.S. Diploma or GED. Other pre-employment requirements include a written general knowledge test, physical agility test, background check, and pre-employment drug screen. Applicants must have no felony or domestic violence convictions. Prior Law Enforcement experience may be eligible for 50% time credit of prior service credit towards salary determination.
