Job Description: Talent Corps is currently seeking Fire Alarm Technicians in the Katy area to install, test, inspect, and repair commercial fire safety and alarm system to ensure proper code compliance and operation. Must have at 4+ years of commercial experience Scissor Lift experience is requiredOSHA certification preferred Must have own tools Able to pass background and drug screen
Core Responsibilities: Installation: Set up control panels, sensors, wiring, and communication links based on building plans and electrical schematics. Inspection and Testing: Perform routine functionality tests and annual device checkups according to NFPA 72 Standards. Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose system malfunctions, replace faulty batteries or wiring, and resolve trouble signals or false alarms. Documentation: Keep detailed service logs, record test results, and complete formal inspection reports for clients and local authorities.
Skills and Qualifications: Technical Knowledge: Understanding of low-voltage electrical circuits, wiring, and diagnostic tools. Code Compliance: Familiarity with National Fire Protection Association codes, specifically NFPA 70 and NFPA 72.Come join our team & apply today! \nCompany
