Position Details: Title: Machine Operator / Finishing Operator
Location: Carterville,
GA Responsibilities:
Pick up packages of yarn from as low as floor level and place on creel package - approximately 12 lbs ea, 260/shift. Take finished packages off Doff tray to place on buggy - packages weigh from 1 lb - 10 lb ea. Push finished buggy to Gilbo inspection area - weight up to 600 lbs. Bending to creel, as well as rethread machine. Placing packages at shoulder height on creel and buggy. Use of tools including ring knife or snips. Take twisted yarn off the Doff conveyor and place in a plastic box at the end of the Twister. Push buggy to cable twister - weighs approximately 360 lbs. Place packages on creel posts that are from 20 inches from floor to about shoulder height. Thread machine into Heatset box, then thread into take-up winder on rear of machine.
