About the role
CBTS is seeking a high-performing Account Executive (AE) to drive new business growth across the different divisions of AT&T, including Mobility, Business/Enterprise, FirstNet, and Network/Infrastructure organizations. This role is focused on acquiring and expanding the business within strategic accounts by aligning CBTS solutions to AT&T’s evolving technology and service priorities.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a targeted account strategy across AT&T divisions, identifying opportunities within Mobility, Enterprise, FirstNet, and Network organizations
Establish and maintain executive-level relationships with AT&T stakeholders, including leaders in IT, Network, Operations, and Product organizations
Identify, position, and close complex telecom and technology solutions, including managed services, cloud, security, and next-generation networking (SD-WAN, SASE, Edge, 5G enablement)
Navigate AT&T’s organizational structure, procurement processes, and partner ecosystem to accelerate deal cycles
Consistently meet or exceed revenue and quota targets within a defined strategic account plan
Leverage an existing book of business and telecom relationships to generate pipeline and expand wallet share within AT&T
Required Experience & Qualifications
Proven success selling into Tier 1 telecom providers, with direct experience engaging AT&T or similar carrier organizations
Deep understanding of telecom environments, including network infrastructure, mobility, and enterprise service delivery models
Demonstrated track record of consistently achieving or exceeding quota in complex, multi-threaded sales cycles
Established relationships within AT&T or comparable strategic accounts across business, network, and technology functions
Experience positioning solutions aligned to telecom priorities such as 5G, edge computing, network transformation, and managed services
Strong executive presence with the ability to influence C-level and senior leadership stakeholders
$100,000-135,000 base not including commission
The compensation range in this posting reflects the Company's good‑faith estimate at the time of publication. The applicable base pay range for any individual will be determined based on the candidate's designated primary work location as well as factors including role scope and responsibilities, required qualifications, and the individual's experience, education, skills, knowledge, and performance. Certain positions may also be eligible for additional compensation such as discretionary merit increases, bonuses, or sales-based variable compensation in accordance with applicable plans and role requirements.
Due to U.S. Government requirements applicable to foreign-owned telecommunications providers, non‑US citizens may be required to submit to an extensive government agency background check which will necessitate disclosure of sensitive Personally Identifiable Information.
