About the Position Nugent Supply Co. is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Remote Data Entry Specialist to support our team with accurate data entry, record maintenance, document processing, and general administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, comfortable working independently, and able to maintain a high level of accuracy while handling repetitive tasks and confidential business information.
Responsibilities: Enter and update information accurately in company systems and spreadsheets. Review data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency. Maintain and organize electronic records and documents. Enter customer, vendor, order, invoice, and other business information as assigned. Verify information and correct data-entry errors. Assist with updating databases, spreadsheets, and internal records. Organize digital files and maintain accurate documentation. Compare information from source documents with entered data. Assist accounting and administrative staff with routine data-related tasks. Handle confidential company information appropriately. Communicate with team members when information is incomplete or requires clarification. Complete assigned tasks within established deadlines. Perform other administrative and data-entry duties as needed.
Qualifications: Previous data entry, administrative, office, or clerical experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Comfortable working with spreadsheets and computer systems. Basic to intermediate Microsoft Excel skills. Good typing and keyboarding skills. Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Ability to follow written instructions and established procedures. Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Reliable and consistent attendance during scheduled work hours.
