Sales Manager – Functional Food Ingredients US

Remote, USATerritory: North AmericaI am seeking an ambitious and commercially driven Sales Manager to develop new business across the U.S. functional food ingredients market. This is a hunter-focused role for someone who enjoys prospecting, building relationships, and winning new customers. The successful candidate will manage the full sales cycle and work with food and beverage manufacturers, R&D teams, product developers, and procurement professionals.
Key Requirements:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in food ingredients, functional ingredients, food, beverage, nutrition, or a related sector. Proven success in new business development and customer acquisition. Strong hunter mentality and willingness to undertake significant outbound sales activity. Degree in food science, food technology, nutrition, business, or a related field. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to work independently in a remote role. Willingness to travel across the U.S. when required.
