About the role

Help us restore sight. Since 1988, the Cornea Research Foundation of America has worked to develop innovative solutions for vision impairment and shared what we learn with patients, physicians, and communities around the world. Our research has helped advance corneal transplant techniques now used by surgeons globally. You’ll Lead Reporting to the Executive Director and working closely with our Board, you'll lead CRFA's fundraising, including major gifts, annual campaigns, and partnerships. You’ll also help tell our story, managing the communications that build lasting relationships with our supporters. We're a small team with a big mission, so this role suits someone who enjoys variety and likes rolling up their sleeves across the organization.
What You'll Do: Build and execute an annual fundraising plan that fuels our medical research and educational programs Cultivate and steward donors, and manage our donor database for gift tracking and outreach Partner with the Board to engage stakeholders and report on fundraising progress Plan and lead fundraising and educational events Create compelling communications, including newsletters, educational materials, and our annual report What You’ll Bring 3+ years of professional fundraising experience, including donor database management Excellent writing and speaking skills, and the strategic sense to turn goals into a planA bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, business, communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience Genuine enthusiasm for work that gives people back their sightA plus: Medical nonprofit experiencewebsite and graphic design skills
