This position is responsible for all aspects of production, process, safety, and sanitation and proper interpretation of the collective bargaining agreement where applicable.\n\n \nWhat You'll be Doing:\n\nPractices 200% safety accountability (self and others).\nInterview, hire, lead and supervise manufacturing plant team members.\nIndependently plan and coordinate work to meet daily production goals.\nTrain, coach and lead work teams to achieve performance, quality, cost, service and safety goals.\nEnsure our teams ability to operate manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently.\nRecord and deliver coaching disciplinary action to team members as necessary.\nUse appropriate reporting to evaluate results for expected improvements.\nWork closely with team members in an effort to improve plant key performance indicators and manufacturing/operational metrics.\nMaintain the quality of production.\nCultivate a positive and innovative work environment while ensuring adherence to Meijer policies, procedures and practices.\nEnsure all team members are following GMP policies.\n \n\nWhat You Bring with You (Qualifications):\n\nBachelor's Degree with applicable focus is.\n 3+ years of leadership and/or production management experience.\nProven analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and Power Point.\nExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written.\n \n
