Digital Operations Supervisor — Live Sports Streaming On-site, Secaucus, NJ12 month Contract, with potential renewal
Schedule: 3 PM–11 PMMonday- Sunday (need to be flexible, each week is subject to change)We are seeking an experienced Digital Operations Supervisor to lead live digital operations for a nationally recognized professional sports league. This role oversees the real-time delivery and quality of live sports content across web, mobile and connected-device platforms, with a strong focus on live game monitoring, incident management, escalation and operational improvement.
Responsibilities: Lead nightly live game and streaming operations, including monitoring, manual interventions and issue escalation. Own critical incident response during live events, coordinating troubleshooting, escalation, documentation and resolution across internal teams and vendors. Supervise and schedule Level 1 Digital Operations team members, including game assignments, monitoring responsibilities and product-release support. Analyze platform performance and issues using tools such as New Relic, Grafana, Bitmovin, Amplitude and Postman. Partner with Product, Engineering, Content and Media Technology teams to identify recurring issues, improve processes and coordinate bug triage. Serve as the day-to-day operational lead during evening and weekend coverage.
Required Experience: 3–5 years of experience in digital operations, streaming, digital product support or live-event operations, ideally supporting consumer-facing platforms. Strong incident-management experience with Jira Service Management, Service Now, Azure Dev Ops or similar tools. Familiarity with APIs/SDKs, CI/CD environments, identity platforms such as Okta/Ping/Akamai, and CDNs such as Akamai or Cloud Front. Experience supporting iOS, Android, web browsers and connected-TV/device platforms across production and QA environments. Strong troubleshooting, communication and leadership skills with the ability to remain composed during high-impact live incidents. Bachelor’s degree required.
