About the role

About The Role We are looking for an experienced Grooms Technician to perform remote and logical grooms of transport circuits, ensuring smooth migration from old to new paths. The technician will preconfigure ports, validate logical connections, and troubleshoot discrepancies to ensure network integrity. This is a fully remote position. Key Responsibilities Preconfigure new circuit ports and logical cross-connections (PTD). Pretest new logical circuit paths and resolve design discrepancies with the Planner. Execute Remote Logical Grooms of transport circuits across various network equipment. Validate successful grooms with no alarms or outstanding issues. Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues during migration. De-provision old circuit paths and ports post-migration. Qualifications Strong hands-on experience with a wide range of network equipment and layers. Proven expertise in circuit grooming and migration activities. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and in collaboration with network planners and engineers. Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills.
