About the Role: The Company is in search of an Executive Director for Commercial Law and Commercial Contracts. The successful candidate will be a key leader in the commercial legal function, providing strategic and hands-on legal advice to support the company's commercial and medical affairs organizations. This role is pivotal as the company prepares for its first commercial launch, and the Executive Director will be responsible for a wide range of activities, including pre-launch and launch strategy, market access, patient support programs, and the negotiation of commercial contracts. The ideal candidate will have a J.D. from an accredited law school, a minimum of 10-12 years of commercial law experience, and a strong background in U.S. healthcare laws, FDA promotional regulations, and industry codes. Key responsibilities for the Executive Director include identifying and resolving legal and business issues, serving as a subject matter expert on healthcare laws, and leading the negotiation of business agreements. The role requires a professional with excellent judgment, executive presence, and the ability to balance legal risk with business goals. The candidate should have a proven track record of managing multiple priorities, be a strong collaborator, and have the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment. In addition to the technical legal skills, the role demands a leader who can build scalable processes, partner effectively across the enterprise, and translate complex legal risk into clear, actionable guidance for business leaders. Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
