Job Title Retail Associate
Job Description: We are looking for full and part-time Retail Associates to help walk-in customers select wines & spirits and provide good, friendly customer service. Applicants must have basic to good knowledge of wines and spirits, enjoy engaging with customers and capable of working in a fast-paced, team environment.
Primary Responsibilities: Assist walk-in customers in selecting appropriate wines and spirits. Manage retail tasks such as deliveries, in-store tastings, events, etc.
Secondary Responsibilities: Identify leads for corporate events and phone sales. Ensure retail space is appropriately stocked, clean and well maintained.
Requirements: We are looking for people with the following: Love of wine, entertaining, food, people Basic to good level of wine & spirits knowledge 3+ years sales experience with fine wines Enjoys working with customers and as a team Detail-oriented and dependable Compensation Competitive base, bonuses and commissions (full-time employees) Competitive hourly wage (part-time) Based on experience and sales Misc. Paid vacation, flexible work schedules, health care (full-time)About Convive Wine & Spirits is a new retail store in the East Village of New York City that believes the process of buying wine should be easy and enjoyable.
