About the role
- Estimating
- Accounting
- You are not starting from zero. During your first weeks, the Principal will personally introduce you to CORE’s existing national clients. From there, you become the relationship owner responsible for managing, protecting and growing those accounts.
- This is a relationship management role with revenue responsibility. The priority is to understand each client’s business, identify expansion opportunities, and be the trusted point of contact when something needs attention.
- You will also help build the next stage of CORE’s National Accounts function. That includes developing selected new relationships across the Northeast and helping shape the CRM, account strategy and outreach cadence behind a growing book of business.
- What you’ll own
- Manage and grow assigned national and regional client accounts.
- Build relationships with multiple stakeholders inside each account so the partnership does not depend on a single contact.
- Identify opportunities to expand existing clients into additional locations, services, departments and programs.
- Take ownership of client escalations and coordinate with internal teams to drive resolution and preserve the relationship.
- Develop targeted new relationships with multi-unit brands across the Northeast.
- Maintain an organized CRM and pipeline with accurate stages, clear follow-up and dated next actions.
- Work closely with Production / Project Management, Estimating and Accounting to support strong client communication and delivery.
- CORE’s Production team runs the projects and Estimating owns the estimates. Your role is to be the client’s trusted person inside the company.
- Construction — project management, estimating, construction management, general contracting or a trade
- Facilities management — multi-site facilities, capital planning or FM program management
- Building systems, materials or products — technical sales, specification or manufacturer support
- Engineering — civil, structural, mechanical, electrical or another built-environment discipline
- Real estate development — capital projects, owner’s representation or site development
- Architecture or design-build — where projects were carried into execution
- Program or project management — particularly multi-location rollouts
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
