About the role
Bedford County Courts is now accepting applications for the position of Deputy Clerk for the Clerk & Master Office. The Deputy Clerk performs specialized legal, administrative, and secretarial work providing direct support to the Bedford County Chancery Court. As a deputized officer of the court, the individual in this role processes legal documentation, maintains official judicial records, handles financial transactions, and provides customer service to the public, attorneys, and law enforcement. This role requires high accuracy, absolute confidentiality, and strict adherence to the Tennessee Code Annotated (T.C.A.), local court rules, and constitutional standards. This position reports to the Clerk and Master of Bedford County.
