About the Role: We're seeking a full-time Retail Sales Associate to join our boutique in Midtown Manhattan. As the face of ROYCE, you'll welcome clients, share the story behind our craftsmanship, and help them find the perfect piece, whether it's a gift for someone special or something for themselves. Personalization is at the heart of what we do, so you'll guide clients through monogramming and custom gift options that make each purchase one of a kind.
What You'll Do: Greet and assist clients with warmth and professionalism, creating a welcoming boutique experience Share product knowledge on our leathers, craftsmanship, and collections Guide clients through monogramming and personalized gift options, ensuring every detail is accurate Support in-store monogram events and seasonal gifting moments Refer corporate gifting, logo branding, and bulk inquiries to our corporate sales team Build lasting client relationships through follow-up, clienteling, and outreach Process transactions, gift wrapping, and shipping requests accurately Maintain visual merchandising standards and a clean, polished store Assist with receiving, stock management, and inventory counts Contribute to store sales goals and team targets
What You Bring: Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a warm, polished presenceA natural ability to connect with clients and build relationships Strong attention to detail, especially with personalization orders where accuracy matters Ability to thrive in a fast-paced Manhattan retail environment and handle multiple clients at once Availability to work a retail schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays Comfort with POS systems and basic computer tools; clienteling app experience is a plus Prior retail sales experience, ideally in luxury goods, leather goods, accessories, or gifting Interest in craftsmanship, design, or heritage brands High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework is a plus Knowledge of or hands-on experience with leather monogramming, embossing, and hot stamping is preferred
