Mind Designs Inc is looking for a skilled Cabinet Maker to join our team in Bohemia, NY! Responsibilities:
Fabricate, assemble, and install custom cabinets and millwork to precise specifications Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and work orders Operate woodworking machinery including table saws, routers, joiners, and sanders Measure, cut, and shape wood, laminates, and other materials with accuracy Apply finishes, stains, and hardware to completed cabinetry Perform quality control checks to ensure all pieces meet company and client standards Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop environment
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Cabinet Maker, Carpenter, or similar woodworking role Proficiency with hand tools and power woodworking equipment Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship Knowledge of wood types, laminates, finishes, and hardware Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a shop environment Reliable, punctual, and takes pride in their work
